VFX and design for TV shows

Recently, I've had the unbelievable honor of being part of the Visual Effects team working on Saturday Night Live. On a weekly basis my colleagues and I are tasked with all types of animation and compositing challenges over a very quick turnaround. The experience of working along side such a talented group is exhilarating and inspiring. It's a super fun gig to say the least.

I've had the great honor of being a part of the graphics and visual effects team at Wyatt Cenac's Problem Areas on HBO. The first season is so fantastic that it's contract has been renewed for a second! A huge thanks to all my talented friends there. Special props to fellow motion designers Dwayne Sealy and Hugo Marmuchi.

Ali Siddiq is so so funny. This Comedy Central special was directed by the very talented Chioke Nassor. He’s a multi-talented writer/producer/directing genius, so I was super happy to be asked to lend a hand with the piece’s graphics package.

Creative megazoid, Edmond Hawkins, dreamed up this perfectly bizarre series concept in which screen test auditions are filmed and reassembled, through the magic of clever editing, compositing and VFX, into short genre episodes with hilarious results. Odd writing, mis-direction given on set and the marriage of these disparate performances give life to a new form of comedy altogether. I was honored to be involved in 6 episodes of the first televised series of which there are sure to be many more.

Shortly after Rogue One hit theaters, Felicity Jones hosted SNL - for which this short animation was created as part of the episode promo. See! It kinda matches the Lucasfilm one.
